One of the ongoing difficulties in persuasive writing and education and a common complaint among professionals is trying to work with an increasingly apathetic and lazy audience. One that seems to be getting shorter and shorter attention spans as time goes on.
We are experiencing a cultural shift, a push toward increasingly visual and less textual communication. Literacy is going down! Or so they say...
People like being spoon fed why things matter more than having to piece together for themselves how and why different things are important.
